Kurdish Musician Serdar Canan to Perform in Diyarbakir

DIYARBAKIR, Turkey — Musician and ethnomusicologist Serdar Canan, will perform a concert in Diyarbakir on April 13. The event will take place at the Sezai Karakoç Congress and Cultural Center.

The two-hour performance will feature Canan alongside musicians Erika Ueda, Ruşen Arslanargun on cello, Azad Yilmaz on percussion, and Baran Ertaş on violin. The concert is open to audiences of all ages.

Event Details

The concert is scheduled for Sunday, April 13, at 8:00 p.m. at the Sezai Karakoç Congress and Cultural Center. Tickets start at 560 Turkish lira (approximately $17) and are available for purchase online.

Canan, who previously co-hosted the "Seliqe" program for Botan Times with Ekrem Yildiz, is known for his work in Kurdish music and ethnomusicology.

The event is organized by BK Mimoza Organization.
